Splash
The photograph was created in Cuba, working with Cuban models who had previously posed in the nude. At first, there was a certain shyness — the presence of passersby made the atmosphere delicate, almost fragile. But with patience, trust, and the support of my Italian makeup artist and hairstylist, the models gradually opened up, letting go of their hesitation.
The result is Splash — one of my bestselling works and a personal favorite. For me, it captures the essence of strength and freedom: a woman completely at ease in nature, using it in the most natural, unrestrained way. It is about confidence, beauty, and the timeless dialogue between humanity and the elements.
